The popularity of the pressure cooker has grown massively in the past few years due to the convenience, speed and the ability of the pressure cooker to maintain the nutritional value of the food. An unnecessary cost which could be avoided by following these steps.

Before using your cooker, ensure that you check all the gauges and the pressure cooker gasket which can be found around the lid. Ensure they are in good condition and do not have any wear or tear. If you are in any doubt about the correct pressure seek advice from the manufacturer.

When cleaning the cooker the many components can be cleaned with warm water and soap. And if you have one available the pressure cooker can be cleaned in a dishwasher.
