When cleaning the cooker the many components can be cleaned with warm water and soap. And if you have one available the pressure cooker can be cleaned in a dishwasher. If your cooker is stained, the stains can be removed using a slightly abrasive sponge in cooperation with soap or washing up liquid. If your model is stainless steel do not use an abrasive sponge; a normal one will suffice. If you find that your pressure cooker is burned at the bottom, the stain can be removed easily by soaking the cooker with baking soda, or by adding a couple of tablespoons of salt.
